MAISON LA CORTE

Maison la Corte it is a historic building with a strong intrinsic identity. Of origin from the early 1900s, it is made up of local architecture reflecting the style of the Aosta Valley, stone and wood structures. In recent years, some apartments have been renovated, such as the standard apartment Duplex Court and the Superior apartment Comfort Courtwith a concept of architectural sustainability linked to the territory of the Aosta Valley. 

 

The structure is located in the center of the town in a quiet and convenient place to reach all the most important attractions in the surrounding area on foot, surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Aosta Valley which can be admired from the main courtyard of theMaison and from the charming back of the building where there is a garden where you can help yourself to seasonal vegetables for free.

Maison la Corte ​it is also a convenient place for the winter season with the Monterosa Ski area, the largest ski area in the Aosta Valley with its 180 km of slopes which is only 30 kilometers away. Art is one step away with the Bard Fort at 5 km, the Roman city of Aosta at 50 km and Ivrea recognized as a UNESCO heritage site at 18 km.

AROUND

Maison la Corte  is located in the center of the village in a great location with grocery stores, post office, public park, library within a 10-12 minute walk. The Roman bridge, 2000 years old, it is located in the main square a few steps away on foot. 

For sports lovers a stone's throw from Maison la Corte there are tennis courts, a skating rink (roller) and a swimming pool where it will be possible to spend pleasant days in the open air (heated swimming pool of 130 m2 for adults and a swimming pool of 40 m2 for children).
 

Nearby there are the remains of the ancient Roman road to Gaul called Via delle Gallie e it constitutes a stage on the Via Francigena, coming from the Gran San Bernardo hill, before entering Piedmont and heading through the vineyards towards Carema. Crossed by the Dora Baltea, it rises in the extreme eastern part of theplaine of Donnas and is 50 km from Aosta.
